Piermont Retreat

Piermont sits on a private waterfront stretch of the East Coast, surrounded by 230 acres of coastal landscape with the Freycinet Peninsula visible across Great Oyster Bay. The Homestead Restaurant, built in 1838 and heritage-listed, serves as the centrepiece for indoor and outdoor receptions, with Mediterranean-influenced seasonal menus drawing from local farmers, fishers, and Tasmanian winemakers.

Ceremonies can take place at multiple locations across the property — including a Roman-inspired stone amphitheatre framed by Mediterranean Cypress, suited to both intimate elopements and gatherings of up to 60. On-site accommodation spans stone and rammed earth cottages, spa suites, and three-bedroom residences, making it well suited to destination weddings where guests stay for the weekend.

Kayaks, mountain bikes, an outdoor pool, and tennis court round out a property that’s as much about the days around the wedding as the day itself.
