Port Esperance Sailing Club is Australia’s southernmost yacht club, perched on the waterfront at Dover in far south Tasmania. The clubrooms were rebuilt following a fire in 2020 and now offer a fresh, welcoming space with indoor and outdoor deck areas overlooking the harbour.
The club’s setting at the edge of the Huon Channel — where the river meets the sea — gives weddings here a sense of adventure and remoteness that few venues can match. For couples drawn to the water and the deep south of Tasmania, PESC offers a relaxed, community-rooted venue with one of the most striking natural backdrops in the state.
