Freycinet National Park

National Park

Freycinet National Park is the East Coast’s centrepiece: the Hazards rising above Coles Bay, Wineglass Bay curving below the saddle, and the quiet coves of Hazards Beach and Richardson’s Beach accessible on foot. The pink granite and deep blue water produce imagery that doesn’t need a filter.

Parks Tasmania allows wedding ceremonies throughout the park. Couples can choose their own location — a clifftop, a beach, a granite outcrop above the bay — or one of the park’s established lookout and rest areas. Numbers at some sites may be capped.

All guests require a valid Tasmania Parks pass. Book through Parks Tasmania at least four weeks in advance.
