Cradle Mountain

Cradle Mountain needs no introduction. The jagged silhouette of the peak above Dove Lake is one of the most photographed landscapes in Australia, and it’s available as a wedding ceremony location through Parks Tasmania.

Ceremonies can be held at a variety of spots within the park — the Dove Lake circuit, Marions Lookout, the boardwalks through ancient pencil pine forest — each offering a different scale of drama. The setting is genuinely wild; weather changes quickly and the landscape rewards those willing to work with it rather than against it.

All guests require a valid Tasmania Parks pass. Booking is essential and must be made through Parks Tasmania at least four weeks before the date.
